An Inspirational Folk Music Experience
Three Hares Folk Camp is not just another folk music workshop.
It’s about experiencing and learning folk music the way it was meant to be—hands-on, communal, and full of heart — all in the Somerset countryside.
Over the course of three days, you’ll be guided by some of the most talented folk musicians in the UK. With a focus on both individual instrument development and group playing, this camp is ideal for those who want to improve their technique, while building experience in playing folk music with others in a friendly, supportive environment.

Bradon Smith is an experienced and respected fiddle player and educator, focussing on the traditional music of Ireland and the Irish diaspora in England. Through my teaching (2000+ lessons and workshops), I have helped hundreds of fiddle players (re)discover a love of traditional music.
In 2023 I was on the Royal Irish Academy of Music’s inaugural Teach Irish Traditional Music and Song course, further developing my traditional music pedagogy. I am known as an accomplished performer on fiddle with my own bands The Sunny Banks and Straight from the Jug, and play regularly for numerous ceilidh bands.
I have contributed arrangements and recording to three studio albums; and instrument coaching for a major Paramount TV series.

Most importantly, she believes that the learning and exploring of music should be an enjoyable and inspiring experience.
